December here at last, and with it brings Rogue One. Just as with The Force Awakens, I'll be watching it near my birthday. Unlike with The Force Awakens, I'll actually be getting a review done near the time I watch it.
Updates to Crossover Corruption and Doctor Who: The Star Wars Chronicles never happened during November as it's that time within a university semester when most of the work gets done. They will definitely be updated this month.

So with the Nintendo Switch announced at last, I gave my thoughts on the reveal. And with no new information coming from Nintendo until January, I feel this could be the perfect time to offer some ideas into games that could come for the system.
One of which is something I've said would have been perfect for the Wii U, but with development now entirely on the Switch, it will have to do. I won't cover too much on games we know are coming, since I plan to cover those elsewhere. Last month's update was big. This month there won't be much to say. Work continues on making Wattpad the home of all my written fan-fiction, and the next part of Doctor Who: The Star Wars Chronicles will be uploaded as soon as possible.
I also really want to get a proper cover on The Chameleon Chronicles, as there are now two published stories with proper covers. I will also be sorting out a proper banner for my WattPad profile which has the new name of DarkRula Media on it. This post is coming later than planned as I took a week out. I could have uploaded earlier, but as the title says (while still fitting in with the naming structure set out at the beginning of the year) there are certain events this month happening.
Not in the same way as last month, where I was at Summer of Sonic, but still events. Currently I am sat in my university room awaiting the start of the last year. My last year. That doesn't mean I won't be updating things here, of course. I still have plans, and they will happen - including the sad demise of a name. Cyber Digital Services was a name - a name I had so often used when younger and fantasising over running an entire business of media related works. I still want the name to live on, though I realise at the core I've been doing things under a different name. I covered the Star Wars Celebration event last month, but despite also mentioning the Sonic 25th party, I didn't cover it. Of course I'm happy we're getting two new games - even if both won't be released until next year. Sonic Mania looks to be an evolution of the classic games, and Project 2017 seems to be channelling Generations while still going its own way.
However, the bigger reason why I didn't cover it was because I'll be at Summer of Sonic. I'll be able to give impressions of Sonic Mania from my own experience playing. I can also cover Sonic Boom: Fire and Ice, and give my experience on the event as a whole, but I'm sure the main focus will be on Mania. After not giving any focus to Doctor Who: The Star Wars Chronicles last month, this is the month that focus will appear. The Past, Present, Future article will be up sometime next week, as well as the next part of the story.
I decided it might be better for no stories to be posted so a longer transition period could happen. Probably not the best idea, but this allows for new story parts to get back to beginning of the month posts. Don't know whether all the news is uneventful - what with E3 coming up once again - but keeping with the title creation from the first three letters of a month, I felt it appropriate.
First off, I recently managed to knock the 'i' from iDarkRula on my Youtube channel. I have no idea for how long I was able to make the change, but now that it is done, I feel better about it. When I first put the name of my account to DarkRula, I was unable to do so without the 'i' owing to another account of the same name - one, it seems, that wasn't being used. April has been a busy time. With projects to complete for uni, nearly everything else has been sidelined. The deadline is fast approaching, and all that work has now been finished. So normal service resumes here.
Hot off the 20th anniversary celebrations for Pokémon, new games in the series have been announced. Sun and Moon are still a mystery, but have fans wildly speculating already.
It will be fun to see more when they finally get shown off, to see whether the guesses of the content were right or wildly off the mark. As part of this month, I will also be covering the game as part of series of posts I will be doing. Chapter 9 of The Chameleon Chronicles had been uploaded last month, and this month will be Chapter 10. That leaves two chapters left for March and April. After that, work will resume on Doctor Who: The Star Wars Chronicles, which was left on a bit of an interesting plot.
I feel that now is also the time to announce that Pokémon: Shadow Boom is being reviewed to both make the story flow a bit better, and to update it where needed so it isn't a mess of writing styles. |
